for now, i will share with you things i love today:
- it's finally october and finally fall! living in the no AC house is getting back to being bearable, if even a bit chilly in the evenings when we leave the windows open. we survived the summer of no AC! holla!
- i'm going to king's island tomorrow. that's double exciting because i haven't been in like 5 years and i think there are new rides and also the halloween stuff. (yes, i know that was a run-on sentence but i don't care because i'm run-on sentence excited. i think i made another one there)
- i am pretty sure i murdered my stats exam last night. for those of you who don't know i'm taking some classes at IUPUI and i am killing in my stats class. right now i have a 108.2% -- how is that possible? with awesomeness, that's how.
- i am happy that i found a wedding dress (again) last weekend. this is my second wedding dress (and last...hopefully!). i found one a few weeks ago that seemed perfect at the time but didn't seem so perfect after sleeping on it. luckily i am not going the conventional bride route so purchasing the plan B didn't break our bank. and the first one can be returned for store credit when it comes in (yeah, i changed my mind and bought another dress before plan A even came in. that really happened. i have no explanation)
- that our save the dates went out! b designed them and i think he did a wonderful job. it's just a taste of what's to come with the design elements of our wedding/party.
so, that's all for friday. i'm going to go start my weekend in a few and can't wait. if you stumble over here after you receive your postcard please comment on something, anything...just let me know you're alive. :)
How did you sleep on your first dress if it hasn't come in yet??? I'm confused...
ReplyDeleteConsidering the title of your entry it's a good thing they don't require blood tests in Indiana...
ReplyDeleteCewl blog, sister! And completely awesome Save the Date card. As far as the wedding dress thing...if that is the only "flaky bride" thing that happens, you are going to be way more stable than 99% of all brides. For crying out loud, I canceled a whole entire giant Italian wedding 6 months before the event and moved it to the beach in Florida with NONE of the traditional wedding elements. In fact, my husband's wedding band still has the entirely wrong date engraved on the inside. Ha.
ReplyDelete1. I'm sorry- but I am realizing that I have no controlnover my husband.
